Hi there!
I'm Marco, a telecommunications engineer who found the dev world more interesting than waves and antennas.
After working in several projects, I have come to realise the importance of how the code age with time. Without considering myself and expert, I had to fix, improve and optimize pieces of software of every kind.
The key point? Always try to do things in a better way. Don't settle for the established path, and keep a curious mind and nonconformist behaviour. Front? OK. Back? Let's go. CI/CD? Let's try. Reactive programming? Why not? Functional approach? Hell yeah!
All of this, considering that our main goal as engineers is quite straight forward: solve problems. I am not an expert, but I have solved their problems.
And so, does the destination matter? Or is it the path we take? I declare that no accomplishment has substance nearly as great as the road used to achieve it. We are not creatures of destinations. It is the journey that shapes us. Our callused feet, our backs strong from carrying the weight of our travels, our eyes open with the fresh delight of experiences lived.
